Pretty interesting polling numbers for Sen. Blanche Lincoln and John McCain.
Throw in the trouble brewing in SC for Lindsay Graham, and that poll after poll, and Tim Geinther's pounding on The Hill, shows people think government is helping Wall Street and big corporations and not them, and you have wonder when the Democratic unity damn breaks wide open and everyone runs for cover.

Politico reported last night that Senator McCain is expressing disapproval towards Lindsey Graham and Joe Lieberman's attempt to write a bipartisan climate bill.
The piece suggests a position switch, pointing out that McCain has previously introduced climate legislation to the Senate multiple times.
The article raises the question over whether the recession in Arizona, which has been especially hard-hitting, is playing a role in his current stance towards a cap and trade bill.

Sen. John McCain was once a "maverick" on climate change, so much so that he convinced one of his closest friends in the Senate, Lindsey Graham, to champion the issue.
Now, as Graham and another McCain pal -- Joe Lieberman -- draft a climate bill that they hope will attract broader Republican support, McCain has taken up the GOP's talking points and slammed their efforts.
"Their start has been horrendous," McCain said on Thursday.
I wouldn't be here on this issue without him -Lindsey Graham

I know that Senator Lindsey Graham (R, SC) is not on a lot of people's Christmas card lists, but this exchange between him and Attorney General Eric Holder was four minutes, forty seconds' worth of pure schooling.
Ann Althouse :
Either [Holder] knows damned well what he's doing and he's lying or he's outrageously unqualified for his job.

For late-19th-century anarchists, terrorism was the "propaganda of the deed."
And the most successful propaganda-by-deed in history was 9/11 — not just the most destructive, but the most spectacular and telegenic.
And now its self-proclaimed architect, Khalid Sheik Mohammed, has been given by the Obama administration a civilian trial in New York. Just as the memory fades, 9/11 has been granted a second life — and KSM, a second act: "9/11, The Director's Cut," narration by KSM.
